Concrete: In Color

With touchable warmth, natural sensibilities, and timeless style, concrete embraces human ingenuity and a down-to-earth approachability at the same time.

Concrete has been a favorite material from almost the dawn of civilization and its malleability has allowed it to be just as relevant today. Artisans and craftspeople mold concrete into nearly any shape and in nearly any color.

Color in concrete is unique in several ways.

Wet concrete dyed pink and ready for forming.

Concrete Color Isn’t Superficial

Color is added during the blending of the concrete thus it’s integral to the finished product. That means any chips won’t stand out and it’s easy to refinish if necessary.

Concrete Color Can Be Customized

Concrete is fully customizable; that includes color. It can be any color from gray to periwinkle and everything in between.

Concrete Color is Consistent

Due to the way the color is blended into the concrete mix, it is one of the most consistent surfaces. There are few materials that have this level of uniformity. That said, keep in mind that concrete is still considered a natural product and like stone, it can have some variation.
